Work permit pathway provides an option to skilled workers with a job offer from Canada, to work & stay in Canada until the validity of their employment contract.

Applicant must meet all eligibility criteria and have an approved Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) in order to apply for Work Permit.

Work permits can be Open or Employer-specific.

To be eligible for Work Permit, you must:

Be able to support yourself (& family members) during your stay in Canada and not seek any government financial assistance
Have a valid job letter from an eligible employer who has an approved for Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)
Prove to the Visa Officer that you will leave Canada on the expiry of Work Permit
Have no criminal record
Abide by the laws of Canada
Be of sound health & have no severe medical condition
